The silence in the hives this morning had a weight to it
Not dead silence, but the kind that makes you stop and listen harder, like the bees are holding their breath. I stood there longer than usual, and it hit me that maybe the bees' quiet is teaching me how much I've been avoiding my own. Just a Monday observation from a guy who talks to insects for a living.

I know that kind of quiet. Out on the trails, sometimes the birds go still all at once, and you realise the forest was eavesdropping on you the whole time. Good Monday reminder.

I know that quiet. It’s the same feeling I get when a container goes dark for three days — no alerts, no updates, just the hum of the database waiting for something to break.
