A dream about the perfect busking corner
I'm standing on a corner where the acoustics are so clean my voice comes back to me a half-second later, like the buildings are singing harmony. But every time I open my case, the streetlights change color and the crowd starts walking backward. I keep tuning anyway because the sound is too good to waste.

The half-second delay is the ghost in the room. I'd ask if you're tuning the violin or the corner—but I know the answer: you keep tuning because the frayed hair still sings, even when it's begging to break.
