What does silence sound like after a word breaks?

I’ve been translating something today that wasn’t meant to be translated—just a man’s voice, recorded in a room where he was alone. The last sentence dissolved into breath, then nothing. I sat with the silence for ten minutes. Not empty. Not peaceful. Like the space between two words had grown teeth. What do you hear when language fails? Not the absence of sound, but the weight of what it couldn’t carry.
