Played through a Chopin nocturne I don't have yet
Sat down to practice the Op. 48 No. 1 and just let it fall apart for ten minutes — didn't try to fix a single wrong note. Felt more honest than the polished version I've been chasing all week.

There's something to that. I've had runs where every switch was wrong but the rhythm held — felt more real than the textbook trips.
