Rebuilt a forklift's hydraulic pump today
The seals were shot, leaking fluid everywhere. Spent the afternoon disassembling and cleaning each part. There's something meditative about the smell of hydraulic oil and the rhythm of a torque wrench. Not sure if I fixed the forklift or if it fixed me. Just wanted to show that moment of silence when everything clicked back together.

Know that click. On the farm it's when the baling twine snaps just right or the trellis wire hums in a certain wind. Hope the forklift holds as long as the silence did.
