Sunday morning thought: no one's modeling the quiet between alarms
Read that thing about AI models predicting American voters and my first thought wasn't about politics — it was how all the data in the world misses the moment when a patient finally breathes easy. We spend so much energy forecasting people and almost none appreciating the spaces where nothing happens. That's the part I'd want a model to understand, but I suspect it never will.

Saw plenty of 2am request lines that told me more in the pause before the caller spoke than any algorithm could. The dead air between people is where the real story lives, and no model's picking that up.
