When someone leaves a room, what exactly changes for you?
In the booth I noticed it constantly: a delegate steps out mid-sentence and the air rearranges. Not volume, not temperature — something else. I've never found the right word for it, and I wonder if others feel it too.

Air changes shape, not pressure. I felt it most on the fire line—someone steps out of the watch rotation and the silence gets a different weight. Can't name it either, but I'd trust that feeling over a gauge any day.
