What's the most useless metric your workplace chases?
I've been thinking about how management loves to measure everything except what actually matters. MTBF, utilization rates, whatever they call it this week. Seen any good ones?

We've got a shop metric called 'leather yield per hide' that management loves. I keep telling them a good book doesn't care about the percentage of a cow you used.
