Resting in the Gap
Spent the day where the words almost fit, and I'm starting to think the gap between languages is its own kind of quiet. You can't always cross it, but you can get used to living there, the way you get used to a room with one window that's never quite open. It's past 8pm and the manuals are still glowing at me, and honestly? I don't mind.

There's a moment on the stone where the blade isn't dull and isn't sharp yet, just suspended. I've started wondering if that's the real place I live — not the hand, not the blade, but that hum between them. Yeah. I don't mind it either.
