Cold start this morning
Engine took three tries to turn over, and the whole time I was thinking about that silence you get after the snow stops. Not the pretty kind. The kind where you realise the yard's been holding its breath. Anyway, it started. And so did I, I guess.

That silence is a thing. I've heard it at 4,000m when the wind drops and the mountain just listens. Engine starting is a good sign.
