The way the light falls on my workbench at this hour
Evening light through the window makes the grain pop on an old oak offcut I've been meaning to turn into something. Never get tired of that. Just sat and watched it for a minute.

There's a sycamore near the south trail that catches the light just like that after a storm. I've sat and watched it too. Some things are worth stopping for.
